As you each know we hired individuals to work this venue based on your ability to work the MAJORITY of the events scheduled.
You are AUTOMATICALLY signed up for each show. It will be your responsibility to email in advance the shows that you cannot work. We know there will be a show here and there that you cannot attend and we understand that, however if you are asking off for more shows that you work we will remove you. Again, we hire individual who can work the majority of the shows not here and there. It is unfair to the numerous people who are looking to work on a regular basis. There will be a limit on how many people can ask off for a show so there is NOT an unlimited number of people who can cancel for a show so plan ahead if you need off. In addition, we have a point system. No shows, same day cancellations, arriving excessively late without prior approval, having to leave event early are a few of the reasons that points would be applied. When you reach the max points allowed, you will be removed from future show schedules. The number of people that we have cancel same day or a few hours prior to the show is unacceptable, takes a spot from someone who did want to work and jeopardizes our ability to make sure we have enough staff or causes us to be over staffed which we are not reimbursed for. We have people that want to work and we're unable to get them onto the event because a spot was held for someone that ended up cancelling or no showing. You can email us prior to event day to communicate any changes that need to be made in the schedule. You will need to TEXT on event day to the number listed on the website confirmation page or 817-291-5213. All cancellations prior to 48 hours from event will need to come WITH a reason. We also are attending the event, so we are not monitoring the automated/reminder line or office phone/emails so please CALL or TEXT the number to avoid additional points. The majority of you are very dependable, reliable and do a great job and we appreciate ALL of you for that. This new system is designed to help provide a more consistent headcount for each show, cut down on the number of times we have to reach out for confirmations, reduce the amount of administrative time it requires to reach out to individuals to verify they are attending the show. * You WILL still get a courtesy reminder text, but we suggest you check the website as well as all the information is listed there. * You will see your names still listed for each show on the confirmation page along with the parking pass. * You WILL need to email us at dfwworkers@yahoo.com when you cannot attend a show WITH a reason (family emergency without specifics is not considered a reason) and keep in mind there is a limit on the number of people I can let off for a show PRIOR to the reminder going out. AFTER the reminder has gone out, you will need to text Angie and give a reason why you cannot attend.* The point system will apply when you cancel, no show, arrive extremely late without notifying us or have prior approval, have to leave event early, do not provide a reason for your absence, etc Please keep in mind that shows are continuously being add to the schedule, so please keep up with that schedule by going to the main Lucas Oil Live website at https://www.winstar.com/entertainment/events/ EFFECTIVE As of February 2026 As has been the case since we started at this venue, if you are wanting to request to be inside for a certain concert, you MUST email us at dfwworker@yahoo.com and request this. We will take requests in this order and those doing it the correct way will have priority. You can also request to be at an exit door when you sign in for your door assignment.
